Windrock Day Trip Trail 22 and 2. Tagging along with the Jeeps.
My brother and I took a day trip to windrock and rode Trail 22 and 2 mainly. It was a really wet / muddy ride and challenging. Met some new people and my first tag along with full size vehicles. Great group of guys and everybody had a great time. Spring upgrade performed great on the trail.
Installing a factory trail and rock gated shifter in a RZR S 1000. This also works on other years and models. No more searching for a forward or reverse gear or accidentally finding park during a critical moment.
I replaced the Lux lights with hard mountable rock lights from Amazon. The RZR S 1000 now has ample light to roam around the rocks at night. Most of the tire shadow was eliminated and I can see further behind and in front of the RZR at night.
Replacing the Demand Drive Fluid in the front differential on a RZR S 1000. This was really quick and easy. It’s important to do this yearly especially since these sometimes leak and get water intrusion.
PRP Harness Installed and Finally a Radio for specific for the RZR and UTV market. TYT TH-8600
PRP Harnesses are installed and I also do some last minute details on prep of the RZR for the first season trip including the new UTV/Offroad TYT TH-8600 Weatherproof Dual Band Radio. Fits perfect in the RZR with included mounts. Cheaper clutch cover removal tool.
Quick video of PRP GT SE Seats I installed in my Polaris RZR S 1000. Other than locating bolts it’s a painless install of the seats. I’ll be installing 5 point harnesses as well which will involve some fabrication.
I load the test code onto the development board. The design for the prototype board from OSHPark is verfied. I complete some simple verification of design related to the outputs and light load testing.
